Happy Holidays!

Merry Christmas to all! I feel so fortunate, again, to be doing what I’m doing – practicing, rehearsing, preparing and performing great music with great people. Plus I get to teach at a wonderful place! Hey, and three gigs this coming week. Looking good. All the best to you and yours!

visibility?

Every music ensemble wants more exposure, right? I just found another fine tool to help bring more potential clients/audience to to my site. Check out my Randy Lee Ensembles listing.

Keepin’ at it!

I feel so fortunate to be working with fine musicians and playing a variety of events. I even get to rehearse and perform with my excellent, bass-playing son, Nate. How cool is that? I keep practicing as I can. Now I’m even sub-contracting some events. Again, I’m lucky to be a busy middle school music teacher while performing high level events. Fun!

enjoying this!

Sorry, haven’t “posted” for a while but have been busy and loving it. I continue to “make some hay” doing many different performances, teaching, singing in the choir at church, etc. Mary’s 50th birthday party was a” hoot”!

Man, this is my best and busiest month of playing ever! It’s fun and challenging. Lucky to be surrounded by great people.

summer!

I’m looking ahead to a busy, fun summer of gigs. Some of these are “more high profile”, like the Casino and the Fourth fest at Bayfront. And, of course, it’s always a treat to play with groups like the Temptations and the Four Tops. Should be fun!

Loving jazz!

I’m so fortunate to be able to hear fine jazz with our local colleges, playing fine jazz with the wonderful Big Time Jazz Orchestra, teaching jazz to the NYMP (Northland Youth Music Program) Winter Jazz Band and by adjudicating at the Eau Claire Jazz Fest!
